Me Robert Pare is preparing to join the SNC-Lavalin Board of Directors as an independent director.

The lawyer has been a strategic advisor at Fasken since 2018. Previously, he was a senior partner at the firm, specializing in governance and corporate and commercial law.

Me Robert Paré has been practicing for more than 30 years in the areas of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and securities. He has led major transactions involving large corporations in Quebec inc.

He leads work teams working on complex issues, such as during takeover bids. He has advised companies in financial difficulty on recapitalization.

Me Robert Paré is recognized in several Canadian and American legal directories as one of the most eminent Canadian lawyers in business law.

Mr. Robert Paré is a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) and the Institute of Corporate Directors (IAS), of which he chaired the Quebec section from 2015 to 2017. he lawyer sits on the boards of the National Bank and Quebecor.
