A girl was hospitalized on Monday after a dog attack in Péronne-en-Mélentois, near Lille, in the North, we learned from the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS). His days are not in danger.
The firefighters intervened at the end of the afternoon, around 5:30 p.m., for an injured person on the public road in this town in the Lille suburbs. It was a 2-year-old child who had just been bitten several times in the face by a Rottweiler dog, according to the emergency services. Bites that disfigured the child, rushed in serious condition to the Lille hospital center.
Still according to the firefighters, the animal had just escaped the supervision of its master when it threw itself on the little girl who was in her stroller. It is unknown at this stage whether the owner of the dog will be prosecuted and whether the animal, which was captured, will be euthanized.
