A dog who has spent most of his life in a shelter finally got the chance he’s been waiting for. A video posted on TikTok changed everything.
Liam, a Great Dane cross, was one of those many shelter dogs who see visitors pass by without really being interested in them. Fortunately, the situation has changed for him thanks to a video, reported The Gadsden Times.
Taken in as a stray dog, he had been looked after by Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Centeran association based in Gadsden in the state of Alabama (southern United States). Liam lived there for 500 days before seeing his wish come true, that of finally having a family.
A short sequence published on the account TikTok of the shelter has accelerated things for the canine, who until then only knew expectation and disappointment. A video quickly became viral, with more than 1.7 million views on the counter.
Particularly touching, we see Liam return sadly to his cubicle after yet another inconclusive visit. ” I guess I’ll spend another night alone “, can we read in the caption. We also learn that he gets along well with his congeners, but not with cats or other animals.

She adds that he is afraid of children and men, but that she will work on this. At last, Cindy Davis decided not to give it a new name; it will continue to be called Liam.
