Me Louis Gasconfounder of the Montreal law firm Gascon & Associés, died at the age of 79.

Louis Gascon founded Gascon & Associés in 1979, drawing on his in-depth expertise in shareholder relations and his multidisciplinary business practice.

In 1989, he co-founded the Legal Network International, an association of 63 law firms bringing together 5,000 professionals from around 60 countries. He chairs the network’s board of directors.

Today, Gascon & Associés offers services in real estate law, business law, litigation, entertainment, intellectual property and taxation. The firm has 18 lawyers.

Me Gascon was a certified mediator in civil and commercial matters. He was passionate about sailing, fly fishing, skiing and gardening.

I am sad that he passed away, but grateful to have known him. Thanks Louis. »

“I had the chance to meet Louis during my practice. He was an excellent lawyer and a very, very good man, who also loved to have fun, ”says the lawyer Douglas Mitchell.

Louis Gascon is survived by his wife Mary-Jo and his children.
