Don’t Just Comment In Google Docs. Also React To Text With Emoji

Let people know how you really feel about their Google Doc with an emoji.

Google says that Google Docs users will be able to use emoji reactions in documents. The new feature will be enabled by default, but it can be disabled.

“The new emoji reactions feature provides a less formal alternative to comments for expressing your opinions on document content,” Google said in a blog post last week.

Google said the feature will be rolling out to users gradually over the next few weeks, but all users will eventually have access to it.

Google shows how emoji reactions work in Google Docs.

How to Use Emoji Reactions in Google Docs

1. Open a Google Docs on your computer.

2. Click on the text you want to react to, and you can either click on Add an emoji reaction on the right side of the screen or go to Insert and click on Emoji Reaction.

3. Choose the emoji you want to use to let people know how you feel.
