LONDON, February 23, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE) hosted its Guidewire Insurance Forum customer conference in London yesterday. This in-person event brought together several international thought leaders, who shared best practices relating to the property and casualty insurance market in the EMEA region, and offered the opportunity to collaborate with industry peers, as well as enter in contact with the Guidewire team.
Guidewire President and CEO, Mike Rosenbaum, spoke of the diversity of Guidewire’s customer community, which includes nearly 70 companies in 18 EMEA countries, ranging from Tier 1 insurers or new small businesses. He recognized the variety of unique, and also common, innovation strategies employed by this community; supported by a desire to reduce implementation and upgrade costs, and to simplify innovation. Guidewire Marketing Director Brian Desmond presented the inaugural Guidewire EMEA Outstanding Achievement Awards, which recognized Colonnade (Luxembourg), Direct Line Group (UK), P&V (Belgium), and Tryg (Denmark). Each winner took the stage to share their experience of using Guidewire technology and their knowledge gained.
Prior to the close of the event, conference attendees were treated to a panel discussion on how Guidewire Cloud is accelerating innovation, alongside Rudi Serron, CIO at P&V, Steen Wung-Sung, Chief finance and development at Claim DK, Tryg, and Vittorio Giusti, former CEO of Aviva Italia.
