Despite regular updates, Google Chrome, the American firm’s browser, detects more or less critical flaws.
Recently, 11 flaws were detected, 7 of which were considered critical. Even if most are not exploited by cybercriminals, we must remain vigilant. Moreover, Google admits to having detected a very critical flaw, exploited by hackers. The company did not provide further details at this time. We know all the same that it is honest and independent hackers who have worked to highlight these security flaws.
In order to protect its users, the tech giant strongly encourages the 3 billion Chrome users to update it as soon as possible. Updating your browser is important since it will prevent malicious people from using the flaw.
How to make sure the browser is up to date?
Updates are installed automatically when opening the browser. To ensure that you have the latest update, go to the three small dots located at the top right of the screen. Then, you will have to go to “settings” then “about Google Chrome”. If an update is available, click on it and follow the instructions to install it.
