“Plufl is so comfortable you might not want to sleep in your bed anymore.” This promise comes from the advertising spot which praises the merits of an extraordinary object: a human-sized dog bed (172 x 96 cm). It is an occasional piece of furniture in which we take a nap. It was created by Noah Silverman and Yuki Kinoshita, two former students of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver (CA). On April 12, they launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter with a goal of US$25,000. To date, they have already harvested 300,000.
Subscribers can order the basket at a preferential rate: it will be sold for $499 (excluding taxes and shipping costs) and will be available from November, only in Canada and the United States initially. The object is composed of a memory foam structure lined with a faux fur cover. These materials as well as the design have been defined to guarantee maximum relaxation.
