They had announced it when they left the cabinet of examining magistrates, Friday February 11, 2022: they kept their word.

For the fourth time since his indictment for the murder of his wife Delphineand his placement in solitary confinement in the Seysses remand center, in June 2021, the lawyers for Cédric Jubillar (Mand Alexandre Martin, Emmanuelle Franck and Jean-Baptiste Alary) filed a new application for release of their client before the investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal.

“The feeling that [les gendarmes] play Cluedo »

The latter believe that the plasterer, who claims his innocence, has nothing to do behind bars. And that the instruction did not prove anything against him. “It feels like [les gendarmes] play Cluedo (…). It’s a judicial disaster. We are delirious! No material element comes to consolidate (…) the lucubrations which are advanced “.

Mand Martin refers in particular to the episode of supposed confession from Cédric Jubillar to a fellow prisoner, in October 2021, which led to three weeks of intensive excavations in Cagnac-les-Minesaround the drignac farmfrom graveyard and photovoltaic field. Supposed places of burial of the victim, “shallow buried”. Without the body of Delphine Jubillar being found.

Clue Bundle

Only in this case without a corpse and without a crime scenea bundle of clues leads to the 34-year-old craftsman. The knowledge of the fact that his wife had a lover and that she wanted to start a new life with him, constitute a mobile potential.

The dispute scene (of violence?) described by Louis, 8 years old, between his father and his mother on the evening of December 15, 2020, “at the foot of the Christmas tree” – the last time the child sees his mother alive, glasses on his nose -, is capital. The fight could evoke the beginning of the execution of the facts.

Death threats in public

The craftsman also has threatened his wife with death in front of relatives, a few weeks before his disappearance: ” She gets on my nerves. I will kill her, I will bury her and no one will find her”. To date, Cédric Jubillar denies the confessions to the murder of which his ex-convict accuses him.

A showdown between the two men – who we imagine to be explosive – will she be able to change things? Investigators from the research section of Toulouse (SR) now focus on two new tracks.

Two new tracks?

On the one hand, the Delphine’s glasses, which the gendarmes found broken on the kitchen island, during their first visit to the premises, on December 16, 2020 in the early morning. The missing branch will be found under the sofa a fortnight later. These glasses that the 33-year-old nurse only wore in the evening, were they broken during the famous argument at the foot of the tree? That’s what the scientific experts seek to determine.

On the other hand, traces of blood have been discovered in the car of a friend of Cédric Jubillar, residing 2.5 km from the Jubillar Pavilion. A white Peugeot 306. It is a car of this color – “but not (his) own” – that Cédric had described to his fellow prisoner when he had supposedly mentioned the transport of the body.

DNA comparison

Is this blood human or animal? If he is human, could he belong to Delphine? To Cedric? The DNA comparison results should not be known before March.
