This Thursday, February 24, 2022, the judge of freedoms and detention rejected a new request for the release of Cédric Jubillar, Delphine’s husband.
Cédric Jubillar has been incarcerated since June 18, 2021 in the prison of Seysses (Haute-Garonne). His lawyers filed a new request for release. The judge of freedoms and detention has just refused the release.
This is the fourth refusal since the start of the incarceration of the only suspect in the disappearance of Delphine, the Tarn nurse. Laconic reaction from one of Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers:
We are going to appeal to plead this request for release before the investigating chamber
Master Alexandre MartinLawyer for Cédric Jubillar
Cédric Jubillar’s defense believes that incarceration is not justified when there is no crime scene and no body has been found. For its part, justice justifies the detention of the plasterer by the existence of “serious and consistent” indications regarding the mysterious disappearance of his wife, Delphine Jubillar.
In January, an important system of excavations and search for clues had been set up in Cagnac-les-Mines, in the Tarn. But without success. No trace of the 33-year-old mother, who disappeared on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020.
