In a press conference this Wednesday before the return quarter-final of the Europa League against FC Barcelona at Camp Nou on Thursday (9 p.m.), Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp spoke of the rebound he suffered in 2017 in Barcelona with Paris Saint-Germain (6-1). The 31-year-old former Parisian explained that he no longer thought about it, especially since the situation is totally different than at the time.
“I don’t think about what happened here five years ago, I’m focusing on the current game because it’s a big challenge. I have to concentrate on our work. It’s a different match than that one. The big difference is that we won the first leg (4-0) and both teams had to take a different approach in the second leg. We know we are going to suffer a lot, but we know we have the strength to qualify for the semi-finals.”said Trapp who had conceded a draw with his teammates in the first leg against Barça (1-1).
