
Lamb Roast Slow Cooker |

Ingredients |
– 1 (5-6 pound) boneless leg of lamb |
– 1 teaspoon salt |
– 1 teaspoon black pepper |
– 2 teaspoons dried rosemary |
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder |
– 1 onion, chopped |
– 1 cup chicken broth |
– 1/2 cup red wine |
– 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
– 2 tablespoons honey |
Instructions |
1. Season the lamb with salt, pepper, rosemary, and garlic powder. |
2. Place the chopped onion in the bottom of the slow cooker. |
3. Pour the chicken broth, red wine, balsamic vinegar, and honey over the onions. |
4. Place the lamb on top of the onions and liquid. |
5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or until the lamb is tender and falls apart easily. |
6. Once the lamb is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. |
Note: You can add vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and celery to the slow cooker with the onions for a complete meal.
