Ingredients |
– 2 lbs. lamb, cut into cubes |
– 1 onion, chopped |
– 4 cloves garlic, minced |
– 1 red bell pepper, chopped |
– 1 green bell pepper, chopped |
– 1 tomato, chopped |
– 2 tablespoons olive oil |
– 1 teaspoon paprika |
– 1 teaspoon cumin |
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano |
– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
– 1/2 teaspoon salt |
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
– 1 cup chicken broth |
– 1/2 cup dry white wine |
– Juice of 1 lemon |
Instructions |
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. |
2. In a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. |
3. Add the lamb to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. |
4. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened. |
5. Stir in the paprika, cumin, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. |
6. Add the bell peppers and tomato to the pot and cook for 2-3 minutes. |
7. Pour in the chicken broth, white wine, and lemon juice. |
8. Bring the mixture to a simmer, cover the pot, and transfer to the oven. |
