It’s a new record. Founded by Nicolas Sarkozy, the law firm Realyze is in thriving financial health: since the return to business of the former president in 2012, its net profit has more than doubled, from 445,000 euros for the year 2012 to 1,083. 000 euros in 2020, learned Capital by consulting the company’s accounts. A colossal sum for the firm, 34% owned via the CSC holding company by the unsuccessful candidate for the 2016 right and center primary.

The firm’s turnover has also increased exponentially, rising from more than three and a half million euros in 2012 to more than eight million in 2020. Founded in 1987, the firm originally called “Claude et Sarkozy” named after its founders, the former head of state and Arnaud Claude, renamed itself “Realyze” in 2020… two months after the conviction of Arnaud Claude in the Patrick Balkany tax evasion case a three-year suspended prison sentence, a fine of 50,000 euros, and a permanent ban on practicing his profession.

Realyze’s employees specialize in business law and real estate law, and their clients include the Lagardère, Accor, Bouygues, Bolloré, Servier and Toyota groups. Note that Nicolas Sarkozy also sits on the boards of Accor and Lagardère as an independent director. The former head of state supplements his income by paid conferences, but also by his retirement as president, up to 74,700 euros gross per year.

Contacted, the law firm Realyze had not responded to our requests at the time of publication of this article.
