
Roast Goat Recipe |

Ingredients |
1 whole goat, cleaned and dressed |
Salt and black pepper, to taste |
1/4 cup olive oil |
6 cloves garlic, minced |
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped |
2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped |
1/4 cup red wine |
Instructions |
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. |
2. Season the goat inside and out with salt and black pepper. |
3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Rub the mixture all over the goat. |
4. Place the goat in a roasting pan and pour the red wine over it. |
5. Roast the goat for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat registers 165°F. |
6. Let the goat rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving. Enjoy! |
