The 30-year-old, who then represented two victims of fraud at the bar, had been arrested within the very walls of the Cusset courthouse, before being placed in police custody, then brought the next day before the prosecution. He was then indicted for illegal exercise of the profession of lawyer by an examining magistrate of Cusset, then placed in pre-trial detention in the penitentiary center of Riom, under a warrant of correctional detention, the duration of which is four months.
