On February 4, the Conseil national des barreaux voted to create a new disciplinary sanction against lawyers with deviant behavior towards their collaborators. The National Federation of Unions of Young Lawyers welcomes this progress in the fight against harassment and discrimination.

With its vote of February 4, the National Bar Council (CNB) intends to provide the legal profession with a new arsenal, in particular in the fight against the phenomena of harassment which plagues the daily life of many firms. The creation of the new sanction, preventing abusive bosses from hiring new employees, comes in a context of reform of disciplinary procedures, but also of revelations in the press.
