‘Twosday’: 02/22/22 East Today; Google Celebrates Palindrome Day In February

Happy two days!

February 22, or 2/22/22, falls on a Tuesday, making it a holiday all the time – “Twosday”.

It is a palindromic date, meaning it can be read forwards and backwards the same way. According to Keloland.com, last year contained a total of 22 palindrome dates, including a streak of nine in a row in January 2021 – 1-20-21, 1-21-21, 1-22-21, 1- 23-21, 1-24-21, 25-1-21, 26-1-21, 27-1-21, 28-1-21 and 29-1-21.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, February 2022 will have 10 palindrome dates:

2-2-22, 20-2-22, 21-2-22, 22-2-22, 23-2-22, 24-2-22, 25-22, 26-2-22, 2- 27- 22, 2-28-22

After February, the United States will have no further palindrome dates for 2022.

Google Celebration

Google joins the “Twosday” fun with a special surprise. Type 2/22/22 into the Google search bar and your computer screen will be covered with a graphic of confetti and a group of two, followed by a message that reads “Happy Twosday 2You!”
