Wafa Assurance: Adil Bouifrouri takes the helm of the International Division

Adil Bouifrouri takes over as head of the Wafa Assurance International division after the appointment ofAli Chraïbi as CEO of AGMA. Bouiffourri, who joins the Group’s Executive Committee, will have the mission of continuing the regional development of the group around 5 axes. For life insurance, he will have to anchor the leadership of the subsidiaries in Tunisia, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon and launch the subsidiary Wafa Life Insurance Egypt. His new mission will also focus on the implementation of the growth strategy of the Non-Life subsidiaries around the automobile, business risk and health.

In his new cap, Bouifrouri will be responsible for enriching the offer of the subsidiaries, by developing individual health, assistance, inclusive insurance and digital technology, thus making these companies players operating in 7 markets. In addition to strengthening governance and supporting subsidiaries, the objective will also be to increase the scope to reach a coverage rate of 70% of the African insurance market (excluding South Africa) through an expansion of the establishments. from 6 countries currently to 11 on the horizon of the plan.

Bouifrouri is a graduate of the Institut des Hautes Etudes Economiques et Commerciales de Paris, holds a Specialized Masters in Corporate Finance from ESC Marseille Provence and a Specialized Masters in Market Finance from ESC Nice Sophia Antipolis. .
